My PhD research examines the way in which we attend to items or events in depth. In particular I’m looking at attentional capture by approaching and receding motion, and how visual search is altered by different organisations of objects in a 3D display.
In addition to this, I am also interested in the relational theory of attention, crowding in depth, and the psychophysics of binocular fusion.
