Research work: My honours research is on what the attentional system does when confronted with a change of target context in the spatial cueing paradigm. Specifically, after the adoption of a relational set, if the relation is reversed while keeping the target feature constant will a new relational set, or a feature specific set be adopted? What if the target condition is varied randomly on a trial-by-trial basis? In my spare time I am also beginning preliminary work exploring a new visual illusion.
Research interests: Attention, object recognition, and pattern recognition.
